Pushed or pulled to the regions?

Is it the ridiculous property prices down south that are pushing more and more buyers to head for our regions, or are they being pulled by the lure of a better lifestyle?

In our experience it is probably a bit of both. We have seen an increase in buyers from interstate and intrastate over the last 4-6 months and the reasons they give for moving to Far North Queensland are interesting. Here’s just a few:

• Work from home opportunities mean we’re not locked into a daily commute any more
• Affordability – more bang for your buck!
• Tight rent market – great for investors
• COVID-19 has made us re-evaluate what is important
