After Listing Service… what is it?

Not too many people actually know what it is, because they have never experienced it. Or they have, and it has been very poor to say the least.

One of the most common comments we hear coming from home-sellers
in the market today is that they haven’t heard from their agent.

Putting your home on the market for sale can be a stressful and emotional time. Some sellers are quite savvy and know how the process works, but too-often we have found that once the listing paperwork is signed, a large percentage of sellers don’t hear from their real estate agent, unless it is to book an inspection, or ask them to drop their price.

But what about inspection feedback? Did the buyers like it? What didn’t they like about it? Are they going to keep it on their shortlist? Did they think the price was reasonable? Maybe they want to sleep on it for a couple days and then make an offer?

What about progress reports and advertising performance? More often than not, sellers invest their money on advertising that is put together by the agents. You need to know if those ads are working, how many enquiries did the ad generate? What has the feedback from the advertising been?

What else has the agent been doing to try and sell the property? Did they just put
a sign out the front, and charge you for some advertising and then just sit and hope?
