$45,000 in home grants on offer

State and Federal government housing grants could provide $45,000 to help you buy or build your first home.

As Mareeba’s leading Real Estate Agency we are always on the alert for opportunities that could help our customers with their property ambitions and goals.

This month we have pulled together a number of current grant offers from both State an Federal governments that are open for eligible owner-occupiers who are First Home Buyers and/or New Home Builders.

Combined there is up to $45,000 available in government money which can be put towards the cost of buying/building a home.

First Home Owners’ Grant & Regional Home Building Boost Grant:

The Queensland State government has a First Home Owners’ Grant of $15,000 to help people get into their own homes sooner with an additional $5,000 Regional Home Building Boost Grant for people living outside South East Queensland.

Federal Government grant for Home Builders

The Federal Government recently announced a stimulus package to support the residential construction market through its HomeBuilder grant. Eligible owner-occupiers (including First Home Buyers) can apply for a $25,000 grant to build a new home or substantially renovate an existing home. The grant of $25,000 is for a limited time only and details are available on the Australian Government’s Treasury website.
