Demand still high

Demand for property in Mareeba – and demand for property on the Tablelands – is still very high after an extremely busy first quarter in 2021. And why wouldn’t it be, look at where we live.

We love our town and our community very much and we appreciate the opportunity we have every day to help people sell and buy their homes. People are moving to our town! We are getting a surprising number of buyer enquiries from people down south – some as far afield as Melbourne – who are both looking to buy property here and relocate, as well as investors who can see the potential.

Is it just about our weather?

In the past you wouldn’t be wrong if you thought that, but that’s not the only reason these days. Nothing in the Mareeba property market is the same as it was 12 months ago – or even 6 months ago. Young families are relocating here. Some of them have relocated for work and some of them are coming back home because they have family here. A lot of people have changed their perspective of what it’s like to live in regional areas and this comes about when we re-evaluate what is important in life – it’s that whole work/life balance thing that’s at the forefront of everyone’s mind.

Futurologists have been sprooking the concept of virtual offices for decades and now it’s much more of a reality. How many people do you know of that work from home now?

Demand is still high

We aren’t experiencing any tapering off in Mareeba! Buyer demand is still high and we don’t see any signs of it cooling off in the immediate future. So if any of our listeners are thinking about upgrading, upsizing, downsizing, chasing a more rural lifestyle etc., then call Vince or myself today and we would be more than happy to sit down with you and have a Property Consultation. Before you even think about whether or not you should sell, talk to us about what is happening in the property market in your area and it will help you make the right decisions – for you and your family.
