Are you eligible for the First Home Buyers Grant?

The Queensland First Home Owners’ Grant is a state government initiative to help first home owners to get their new first home sooner. Currently the First Home Owner’s Grant is at $15,000.00 which can go towards buying or building your new house, unit or townhouse (valued at less than $750,000). You can even buy off the plan or choose to build yourself.

However, eligible first home buyers who entered into a contract to purchase or build a new home between 1 July 2016 and 30 June 2018, may still be eligible to apply for the boosted $20,000 grant.
